Shelter set up for people displaced by fire in Cedar Hill

CEDAR HILL, Texas -

An early morning fire in Cedar Hill damaged several apartments Sunday.

According to Cedar Hill firefighters, eight apartments were affected by the two alarm fire at the Wilson Crossing Apartments at 301 N. Joe Wilson Rd.

12-15 people are now displaced, according to Cedar Hill firefighters. City workers set up an emergency shelter in the Grady Lamb Police and Community Service building in the 600 block of Belt Line Road in Cedar Hill.

Nobody was hurt. The Red Cross has been notified.
