Traffic was reduced to one lane for hours Monday after
robbery suspects wrecked their car on North Central Expressway.
Dallas police said the people in the car were involved in
two robberies within minutes of each about 1 p.m. on Monday.
The four male suspects robbed victims in the 5900 E.
University and a few miles away in the 9900 block of Walnut St.
The car the four were in was wrecked and abandoned on
northbound 75 near Walnut Hill. The suspects tried to steal another vehicle,
but were unsuccessful and fled the scene of the wreck.
Two of the four were detained, but two other suspects remain
on the loose.
Three of the four lanes of northbound traffic were closed for more than three hours, but reopened about 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
