Facebook Removes Woman's Before And After Pic, She Says

Posted: Updated:

One woman wants to show off all the hard work she put into her new body. However, she says that Facebook won't let her!

Marylyn McKenna weighed 265 pounds when she decided to make a lifestyle change in 2007. Her decision and commitment helped her lose 120 pounds.

She uploaded a picture that shows her standing in one leg of the pants that she used to wear. She posted it to Facebook last week, but says they removed it.

When she asked why, she says Facebook emailed her, saying the picture promotes an idealized body image, which they're trying to discourage.

McKenna has since posted the photo on Twitter and her website. She says on her twitter that she will meet with Facebook to discuss this photo and clarify the policy.
