'Devil baby' prank terrifies New Yorkers

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) - A marketing agency promoting the new horror movie, 'Devil's Due,' apparently thought it would be funny to freak out New Yorkers by rigging a stroller with a remote-controlled demonic baby.

The prank was video taped and posted toYouTube as 'Devil Baby Attack.' The clip had more than seven million views in its first day.

Over and over again, unsuspecting pedestrians approach the stroller after hearing a baby's cries.  Suddenly, the 'baby' sits upright and screams. Other times it shoots out what appears to be vomit.

Some people react by screaming, running away and even falling down.

In one scene, a man who appears to be sweeping the street stares right back at the 'baby.'

'Devil's Due,' about a husband who notices his pregnant wife's changing body has a sinister source, opens in theaters on Friday.

It stars Zach Gilford as 'Zach McCall,' the father of the possible anti-Christ.
