Arlington Police returned a class ring to its rightful owner recently -- a ring the owner hadn't been seen in 20 years.
The ring's owner, Shelly Ragland, lost it at an amusement park in the early 90s.
Someone found it and told the park about it, but nothing was ever done to track down Ragland, so they kept it. Then, the home of that person who found the ring was burglarized.
The ring turned up with some stolen items police recovered, and they were able to determine it was Ragland's by tracking down her name inscribed inside.
"It just means a lot to me," said Ragland. "It's just something from them. It just brings back a lot of memories for me. It's really special."
Police say they hope the person who was holding onto the ring comes forward so that he or she can be reunited with any other property that may have been stolen from that home.
