JPS Health Network extends hours for flu patients

JPS Health Network will continue extended hours at six of its satellite clinics to treat people with flu-related symptoms.

From Thursday evening to Sunday at 3pm, the clinics treated 145 patients with flu-like symptoms.

A spokesperson says the hours were extended to focus on treating people who are currently sick.

For those wanting flu shots, she recommends calling to make an appointment. She says JPS Health Network has adequate flu vaccine for adults and children, cost may apply.

Clinics open Monday - Friday, 6am - 8pm.
