Audio recovered of lost Martin Luther King Junior interview

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

A lost interview of Martin Luther King Junior is being heard for the first time more than fifty years.

The historic tape was found in an attic in Tennessee two years ago.

The entire interview was played in public for the first time Monday.

On the tape King talks about being arrested, the success of sit-ins, and his commitment to non-violent protests.

During the interview, King also talks about his relationship with President John F. Kennedy.
