Police have confirmed that Justin Bieber was arrested overnight in Miami Beach for allegedly driving under the influence and drag racing. He left jail after being charged with DUI and driving with an expired license.

Justin stood on top of his van and waved to the crowd as he left jail, putting behind a day that will definitely stay with him for a long time. Bieber was arrested just after 4 a.m., the police report shows.

Police say he was driving a rented Lamborghini over the speed limit when he was stopped. Specifically, the police report says that Bieber was almost double the speed limit. Police say that apparently two vehicles were used to block off an area for the drag race. In addition, According to reports Chantelle Jeffries was a passenger in the yellow lamborghini that Bieber was driving. The Kim Kardashian look-alike and aspiring model once dated DeSean Jackson.

The police report also indicates that Bieber kept on asking the officer why he was stopped. In the process, Bieber dropped multiple F-bombs and didn't comply with the officer's request to keep his hands out of his pockets. Bieber was eventually put under arrest when he kept taking his hands off the vehicle during a cursory pat down. When he turned to face the officer, the officer put him under arrest, the report states.

Miami Beach police confirmed the arrest on its Twitter account and have also released the police report. Bieber apparently failed a sobriety test given and was driving with an expired Georgia License.

Bieber has been transported to the Miami-Dade County Jail. His bail is set to $2,500.
