Ft. Worth cops searching for bank robber who made bicycle getaway

Posted: Updated:

Police in Fort Worth are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspected bank robber.

They say that on Tuesday around 9:30 a.m., the Wells Fargo bank in the 1660 block of South University Drive was robbed.

The suspect, a man about 44 to 55 years old, entered the bank and said, "This is a robbery! Give me all of your money!"

He proceeded to pull a stocking cap over the upper portion of his face and had tellers give him an undisclosed amount of money. He fled on a silver cruiser-style bicycle.
