Dallas police arrest 3 in connection to multiple robberies

Posted: Updated:

Officers with the Dallas Police Department say they made three arrests Tuesday in connection to multiple robberies.

Tuesday morning, the victim of a robbery told a DPD detective that a cell phone she'd had stolen from her was just activated.

Officials began tracking the phone through the Oak Cliff area in search of a suspect.

Around 1:15 p.m., another robbery took place close to where the phone was being tracked.

That robbery helped officers narrow their search for a specific vehicle, and officers stopped a suspect vehicle near Camp Wisdom Road and I-35.

Inside, they found evidence from a previous robbery, along with weapons and drugs.

The three suspects in the car were taken in for questioning, and they admitted their involvement in multiple robberies.
