DALLAS -

A disabled soldier and his family are making plans to move to Maine.

Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills has a remarkable story of resilience. He lost parts of his arms and legs in an explosion in Afghanistan.

He now lives in Frisco with his wife and 2-year-old daughter.

The family recently took a corporate plane owned by Window World to Maine.A foundation is building them a home there so they can be closer to family.

Mills also hopes to open a camp there for fellow injured soldiers.

"Two ways to look at it… aw this is horrible, somebody spoon feed me pudding, which isn't a bad option. But then the other option… why not get better," he said.
