Tattoo Shop Owner Offers Discounted "My Little Pony" Tattoos For A Good Cause

Posted: Updated:

After 11-year-old Michael Morone's attempted suicide was linked to on-going bullying, Tony Wayne decided to take a stand against bullying.

Wayne owns Imperial Tattoo in Sugar Land, TX, but after hearing about 11-year-old Morone in North Carolina, he decided to let his art be a way to challenge norms. Morone was allegedly being bullied because he liked "My Little Pony."

To combat the bullies that hurt Morone so deeply, Wayne has begun offering $20 My Little Pony tattoos. The proceeds will go to StompOutBullying.org.

"If you want to get a tattoo to help this cause and you're worried about the pain don't worry we'll walk you through it, we'll be real gentle. To help out kids like this is more important than the temporary pain you are going to go through. Or you could just donate, you don't have to get a tattoo," said Wayne.

Morone's suicide attempt has kept him in the hospital, unresponsive. He currently uses breathing and feeding tubes to stay alive. Stomp Out Bullying works with schools and designs curriculums to combat bullying, which Wayne advocates and supports as well.
