ANTIOCH, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A two-vehicle crash Sunday morning killed a Waukegan man and injured two others in north suburban Antioch.

Scott Bonke, 45, of Waukegan, was driving his pick-up truck just after 10 a.m. on Route 173 east of Deep Lake Road when he and a van traveling in the opposite direction collided, causing the truck to roll, the Lake County News-Sun is reporting.

Bonke died of multiple traumatic injuries, Lake County Coroner's office Chief Deputy Orlando Portillo said. Initial tests showed alcohol or drugs does not appear be a factor in the crash, but blood test results will take 10 to 12 days.

The driver and one passenger in the van were transported to an area hospital for injuries that were initially reported as minor, Antioch Police Sgt. Geoff Guttschow said. The crash is under investigation by both Antioch officials and the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team.
