Dallas Police say at around 1:00 a.m. Sunday a fight broke out, then gun shots and investigators say it's gang related.
Six people were shot outside the BNH Club in the 2600 block of South Harwood Street. One of the shooting victims; Terrance Carroll, 21, died in the shootout.
Dallas Police say club promoters had set up the event for teenagers, when rival gangs showed up and started fighting. When security moved everyone outside, guns were drawn and the shooting started.
The other victims all survived, with non-life threatening injuries.
Police did arrest Eugene Rdd, 21, in connection with Sunday's shooting. He's charged with unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon. Investigators say more charges could be filed in the future.
