Some SMU students lined up Monday night for the chance to get tickets to the final regular season basketball game at home against defending national champion Louisville.
"It's nice to see Moody Coliseum packed even though it's gotten a lot bigger. And this season it's great to see everybody get into the games and having a good time, cheering. Everybody's been excited all the time and camping out. It's been fun," said Kyle Cantrell, a junior.
Head coach Larry Brown came out before tickets were handed out around 7 a.m. Tuesday. He said the fans are definitely to thank for this season's success.
The team was ranked in the AP's top 25 poll for the first time in 30 years. The Mustangs were No. 23 until a loss to Temple on Sunday.
Fans can still get tickets for Wednesday's game vs Houston, March 1 vs UCF and March 5 vs Louisville - but only on the secondary market.
For the last home again against Louisville, the prices range from $150 to $1,600 for court side seats on re-sale sites like StubHub.
