New C-SPAN Poll Ranks First Ladies Of The United States

LOUDONVILLE, NY -

Siena Research Institute released its latest ranking of first ladies of the United States (FLOTUS) based on criteria like integrity, courage, and sense of self (referred to as "own woman").

The survey results revealed that, for the fifth time, Eleanor Roosevelt is the number one FLOTUS in history so far. Current first lady, Michelle Obama, comes in at number five overall with high rankings on her rank in public image and her rank as being her "own woman."

At the bottom of the list was Jane Pierce, wife of the 14th president, Franklin Pierce, who served from 1853 to 1857. Her scores were overall the lowest, especially in the category "Value to Country."

Hilary Clinton scored just below First Lady Obama, with the second highest score in Accomplishments.
