Lakeshore Sport & Fitness, Chicago's #1 destination for sport, fitness and fun, is seeking an Assistant General Manager in charge of Programming for our downtown club.
We are looking for an AGM who can help create and execute quality programming. We need people who can jump in, take a leadership role and see projects through to completion. The AGM will be in charge of revenue producing departments such as personal training, aquatics, programming, etc, and will be focused on introducing new programming and ensuring that existing participants have great experiences.
We are an entrepreneurial group -- we do not have a corporate office to report to and need to figure out how to make things work with very little bureaucracy. We are collaborative -- we have a team environment where we all support each other, rolling up our sleeves to get things done. We are professionals -- we have hired from the industry leaders and we hold ourselves accountable to the highest standards. You are an experienced veteran and eat, sleep and breath customer/member service. You have learned from the best and are excited about taking on more responsibility, coming up with new projects and seeing all projects to completion. You have a great work ethic and great people skills. You have experience in leading people and getting stuff done. You may not have any experience in the health club industry, but have relevant management experience.
