Man stabbed before being pushed out of car Tuesday near 635

Dallas police said the person pushed out of a vehicle near Coit and LBJ Freeway on Tuesday was stabbed before being shoved out.

Pedro Calixto-Valente, 39, was the passenger in the SUV traveling on the service road of 635 near Coit Road on Tuesday morning when he was pushed out of the vehicle. Calixto-Valente was taken to Medical City from the scene and later pronounced dead.

Police have still not identified a suspect in the case and are still searching for the driver, who bailed out of his car and fled on foot after crashing into another vehicle a few blocks away from the first scene.

The driver is described as a Latin male who is wearing a bandana and dark colored clothing. It's not known if the driver and Calixto-Valente knew each other.
