Dallas police have arrested a man they believe stabbed a person and shoving him out of a vehicle near Coit and LBJ Freeway on Tuesday.
Gaspar Enciso, 17, admitted to stabbing Pedro Calixto-Valente, 39, when being interviewed by police.
Dallas police said text messages on Valente's cell phone showed he was arguing with Enciso. Surveillance footage from a local bank showed the two together withdrawing money and police used the video to ID the men with witnesses.
Valente was the passenger in the SUV traveling on the service road of 635 near Coit Road on Tuesday morning when he was pushed out of the vehicle. Calixto-Valente was taken to Medical City from the scene and later pronounced dead.
Enciso has been charged with murder and is currently in jail.
