Posted: Updated:
DALLAS -

A blood drive was held Sunday in honor of a nine-year-old boy who lost his battle with leukemia, Zach Guillot.

The event was called "Delete Blood Cancer" and it was held at Zach's school, Parish Episcopal.

The goal was to register 1,460 people for the bone marrow drive, the same number of days Zach fought leukemia

Zach died earlier this month and many of those who attended his memorial dressed as his favorite comic book character: Batman.
