Judge allows drug test, issues gag order in falling ice case

Posted: Updated:
FORT WORTH, Texas -

The judge hearing the case of a man injured by falling ice at Cowboys Stadium has issued a gag order. No one closely involved in the case will be able to discuss it out of the court room.

Severin Simpson was hurt by falling ice at the stadium just days before the 2011 Super Bowl. He was one of six people injured.

He worked as a sound engineer and says the head injury damaged his hearing.

The judge hearing the case has decided to allow Sampson's positive test for marijuana on the day of the incident to be used in the trial.
