PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

Three incidents -- all in the same area in which young girls say they were almost kidnapped.  Two of them say they were grabbed and put in a van and what's even scarier is that the suspects still haven't been found.

But police hope new information about the suspects will help lead to arrests.

Authorities are not sure that the incidents are connected, but they're erring on the side of caution and on Tuesday night, they opened up to the community to share new details.

"It makes me feel apprehensive because today, trying to raise children and keep 'em safe is a big issue now, especially if you think your child might be abducted off the street," said Carolyn Harrison, a Maryvale resident.

"We have a lot of trust in the police department, so we're looking today to get updated and know where things are and what we're doing and what we can expect and if there's anything we need to do also because we need to be proactive," added Maryvale resident and activist, Manuela Casillas.

Residents were on high alert following three kidnapping attempts this month.  Dozens showed up at Tuesday's meeting where police answered questions and urged them to watch out for each other's children.

"Chief Garcia has dedicated officers from all over department to come into our community, to help us with this investigation.. that should tell us how important Maryvale.. how important you are, how important young people are in our community," said Phoenix Police Commander Michael Kurtenbach.

Police have new details about the suspects:

A white or Hispanic male with a medium build, a snake tattoo on his right arm and a birthmark or tattoo near his nose.  He was in a green mini-van with dark windows, scratches on the hood, a skeleton face sticker on the rear window and "1-10" and "1-20" crossed out with an "X" on both sides.

The other suspect is a Hispanic male between the ages of 35 and 45-years-old.  He's about 5' 7" tall and was in a dark brown 4-door sedan similar to a 1990s Ford Taurus.

If you have any information about the suspects, call Phoenix Police at (602) 262-6141 or Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
