Accused Dallas rapist faces another sex assault charge

Posted: Updated:

A serial rape suspect now faces a new sexual assault charge, according to officials with the Dallas Police Department.

Jesus Madrid-Dubon, 27, has been charged with aggravated sexual assault for an alleged Nov. 2012 incident.

Police say at that time, Jesus Madrid-Dubon picked up a female victim in Pleasant Grove. He and the victim reportedly agreed to meet after talking to each other on a social media site and through texting.

Madrid-Dubon and the victim then allegedly went to buy marijuana, and Madrid-Dubon drove to an alley in the 8500 block of Greenmound Avenue.

There, police say he asked the victim to have sex, but she refused and tried to run away. Police say Madrid-Dubon caught up to the victim and raped her.

Jesus Madrid-Dubon was arrested earlier this month after a 16-year-old girl said she was kidnapped at gunpoint and raped outside a vacant warehouse.

She told police Madrid-Dubon recorded video of the attack.

Police have also charged Madrid-Dubon in connection to other sexual assaults, and they say evidence suggests there may be many more victims.

Madrid-Dubon remains in jail under a $500,000 bond.

Anyone who believes they may have been victimized by Madrid-Dubon is asked to call 214-790-1359.
