Former Frisco cheer coach sentenced to 30 years for child sex abuse

Posted: Updated:

A former Frisco cheerleading coach will spend 30 years in prison for child sex abuse.

Kyle Ware, 31, pleaded guilty to three counts of continuous sex abuse of a child under 14 and one count of indecency with a child.

Ware met his four female victims while working at Express Cheer and Dance in Frisco until May 2011.

He was also a coach at Cheer Athletics in Plano, where he raised red flags with an inappropriate text message to a minor.

He was fired from there in 2012.

Ware has been in jail on a bond of more than $1 million since April, when he was arrested at DFW Airport trying to flee the country for France.
