Morning temps start in the 40s across north Texas, but quickly warm up into the upper 70s and low 80s across much of the area. Slightly cooler highs will be in store for areas to the northeast, as highs will only get into the mid to upper 60s. Winds will be breezy to windy out of the south
A couple of minor weather bumps in the road over the next 48 hours, but nothing that will cause much in the way of changes until Sunday when things really get interesting.
The upper 70s on Saturday turn into tumbling temps on Sunday with a chance for some late morning thunderstorms, and behind the front possible wintry mix for areas north of the Metroplex. Highs in the 60s on Sunday will occur in the morning and then 30s for the afternoon with wind chills in the teens and 20s by the evening.
