Winter weather repair work this weekend at DFW Connector

Winter weather repair work will cause shutdowns in parts of the DFW Connector project this weekend near Dallas Fort-Worth International Airport.

The first set of planned closures began at 9 p.m. on Friday and could last through Monday at 6 a.m.:

·         Two right lanes closed on eastbound SH 114 at FM 1709/Northwest Highway; one left lane will remain open.

·         Eastbound SH 114 on-ramp at Kimball Avenue closed; traffic will be detoured to the William D. Tate Avenue on-ramp.

Another set of closures begin Friday at 11:30 p.m. and will last through Saturday at 11:30 p.m.:

·         Two left lanes closed on the eastbound SH 114 to northbound SH 121 bridge. Prior to the ramp to IH 635, traffic will be able to continue to northbound SH 121. One left lane will remain closed on SH 121 to Bass Pro Drive. One right lane will remain open.

·         Five right lanes closed on westbound SH 114 at International Parkway; one left lane will remain open.
