A woman in her 20s was killed Saturday morning after her car was hit by a train on Scyene and 2nd in Dallas.

The woman was driving on the 2nd Ave. DART crossing when she was hit shortly before 9:00 a.m., according to DART spokesman Morgan Lines.

There were 24 people on the train. Four complained of injuries. All of the passengers will be checked out, Lines said.

The woman tried to beat the train, Lines said.

Authorities checked out intersection and train and didn't find any issues, Lines said. The railroad is open.
