Dallas County Sheriff deputies found a missing 74 year old woman in a shed behind a vacant house Saturday morning.
Lillie Sanders disappeared last Sunday from her Oak Cliff home. Volunteers, relatives and police spent the week searching for the woman. Dallas County Sheriff Capt. Mark Howard says 20 deputies started searching with volunteers and Dallas police officers just after 10am Saturday morning. Capt. Howard says the deputies started searching vacant homes and about 10:30am found the woman near the intersection of Owega Ave. and Ramona Ave. Dallas Police spokesman Lt. Max Geron says had a pillow and a change of clothes with her in the shed where she was found.
Howard says the woman was dehydrated. She was taken to a local hospital.
