A material witness from the assassination of President John F. Kennedy is dead.
James Tague was standing in Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas 50 years ago, when a bullet presumably meant for President JFK hit a curb. The shot sent debris into Tague's face.
His testimony led Warren Commission investigators to conclude that one bullet hit Kennedy, while a second shot went through both President Kennedy and Texas governor John Connelly.
James Tague was 77.
