Arlington police believe weather caused a two-vehicle accident Sunday that killed a man.
The incident occurred about 12:30 p.m. on northbound 287 near the eastbound I-20 exit.
A pickup truck was disabled on the side of the road and the truck's driver was standing outside of the vehicle. A second vehicle lost control and struck the pickup and the driver. Police said the man died at the scene of the accident.
Investigators are working to determine the cause of the wreck, but it appears the winter weather conditions were a factor in the accident.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken by ambulance to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police have not released the identity of the man killed in the accident.
