Morning lows today dipped into the teens and even single digits in a few spots around North Texas. Winds were blowing at a pretty good clip out of the north at 10-20 mph, dropping wind chills into the negative numbers.
Clouds this morning will give way to mostly sunny skies this afternoon. While the winds will subside, temps will only get up into the upper 20s and low 30s, not giving us the much-needed melting time, meaning most of what's on the roadways now will stay there until we warm up into 40s tomorrow.
Dry for the next few days until a chance for sprinkles and light rain moves through on Wednesday, but with temps above freezing, it shouldn't be an issue for travel.
