What TX voters should bring to the polls

Texas voters are required by law to bring a valid photo ID to the polls.

The following seven forms of ID can be used, according to Secretary of State Nandita Berry:

-Texas driver's license (issued by the Department of Public Safety)

-Texas personal ID card (issued by DPS)

-Texas concealed handgun license (issued by DPS)

-U.S. military ID card with photo

-U.S. citizenship certificate with photo

-U.S. passport

-Election ID certificate (issued free by DPS)

For more information on how and where to vote, visit www.VoteTexas.gov.

All polling locations in Texas will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
