3 6-inch flour or corn tortillas
6 oz. chicken or pork (cut into sugar packet sizes)
6 tbs. Korean BBQ sauce (available in all supermarkets) or any BBQ Sauce you may have in your pantry (if you want it to be spicier, add some Sriracha Sauce or hot sauce to it)
2 tbs. cooking oil
½ cup shredded cabbage or any store-bought slaw
You can purchase a dressing of choice for your shredded cabbage, such as a sesame dressing, or you can make a more traditional dressing.
1 tbs. soy sauce
1 tbs. olive oil
1 tbs. lime juice
1 chopped scallion
1 tbs. cilantro
Sriracha or hot sauce to taste
Place your chicken or pork in a Ziploc bag along with your Korean BBQ sauce, and have it sitting on the counter while you prepare your ingredients.
Take your shredded cabbage and place in a mixing bowl. Start adding your dressing ingredients -- soy sauce, olive oil, lime juice, chopped scallion, cilantro and Sriracha or hot sauce, and mix well.
If you want, you can purchase any slaw that is available at your grocery store such as a broccoli slaw and add some Sriracha or hot sauce to it.
Heat your pan on high. Add your cooking oil and then your chicken or pork. Sauté your meat until cooked thoroughly. When the meat is cooked, move it to a separate bowl.
In a separate pan, heat your tortilla for approximately five seconds on each side. Take your heated tortilla and start assembling your taco.
Add about two ounces of meat, topped with your slaw. You can top your slaw with some more Sriracha or hot sauce if you like more heat.
