PHOENIX (KSAZ) -

Phoenix Police say the man who robbed an Arby's restaurant on 40th St. and Thomas back in June is Reginald Stevenson.

But identifying the suspect took an usual twist. The manager said the suspect returned to the scene of the crime this week to use the bathroom.

The manager at the Arby's said off camera he's still shaken up about what happened eight months ago.

The manager said the man barged in from the back door, put a gun to his head, and demanded that the two other employees get on their knees. The manager said that the man was wearing blue paramedic style clothes.

Employees told the manager that the motive for stealing almost four 4,000 dollars was as the suspect said he was "hungry for dope".

The manager tells me he would recognize the man's voice and face anywhere so when the alleged robber came in a second time to use the bathroom the manager called police and took down the man's license plate number before he got away.

Reginald stevenson says he's innocent he faces charges for armed robbery and kidnapping.

The Arbys store has beefed up security since the june robbery. It now has razor wire blocking the back door and surveillence cameras all around the building.
