Flight from DFW makes emergency landing in Greenville, TX

An American Eagle flight that departed from DFW International Airport on Wednesday night made an emergency landing due to smoke in the plane's cockpit, according to an FAA spokesperson.

Flight 3400, which was headed to Moline, IL made an emergency stop at Bakersfield/Greenville Airport in Greenville, TX.

Pilots declared the emergency landing shortly after 9 p.m.

No injuries have been reported.

American Airlines released a statement Wednesday night saying that a bus has been sent to pick up the 45 passengers and crew of three on board.
