The ball or the baby? One dad got a little too excited over the prospect of snagging a ball during a spring training game between the Mets and the Marlins.

When Mets outfielder Chris Young hit a ground-rule double on Monday, the man let go of a wagon holding his kid and tried to retrieve the ball instead. The wagon went rolling down the outfield hill and crashed into the fence.

Cameras later showed the kid was alright. But dad may be in trouble with his wife.

Oh, and he didn't get the ball either.

The Trio Animal Foundation in Chicago has been busy with their fair share of animal abuse cases. Recently, workers say they retrieved a terribly matted and urine soaked dog from an open access shelter. According to the workers, the dog’s fur was so terribly groomed; they were unsure which side was the face at first.
