Splurge on chocolate
Don't mind the holiday shape? Sure the convenience stores are probably picked over when it comes to Valentine's Day chocolates, but now's the time to buy at your favorite high end chocolate shop. We found deals on Valentine's Day overstock at Godiva – with savings as much as 60 percent off.
Stock up on frozen foods
While National Frozen Foods Month is largely a marketing ploy to draw attention to the frozen foods industry, be on the lookout for supermarkets offering special coupons in their circulars for different frozen food brands. Find a really great deal. It's easy to stockpile since these goodies are meant to be saved and stored.
Save on last year's smartphones
We had to stand in line to see the new LG G-Flex phone at the Consumer Electronics Show, but now all you have to do is visit your local AT&T store to get one. New models introduced at CES and the Mobile World Congress in February also mean it's a great time to look for freebies on last year's cell phones. If you truly have your heart set on a new one, never fear. Most new phones get incentivized within their first few months.
