One person was hurt and another killed in a possible drug-related shooting in northeast Dallas.
It happened at about 11 p.m. Tuesday in the 12200 block of Bellefonte Avenue.
Police said the victims met up with two men who ended up opening fire on them.
One of the gunshot victims, 35-year-old Christopher Cross, tried to drive his friend to the hospital, but didn't make it. He stopped for help at a gas station on Knox Street at Central Expressway.
Cross was rushed to a local hospital. His friend was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe the shooting may have been a robbery related to a drug deal. They are still investigating what happened.
The unknown suspects remain at large.
The deceased victim has not yet been identified.
