Six Flags Great Adventure Adopts Lion Cubs

Posted: Updated:

Six Flags Great Adventure just adopted three adorable lion cubs and they're already working on their roars!

The three cubs are native to Africa but their mother couldn't care for them, so six flags took them in.

Right now they're about 20 pounds each and will be well over 500 pounds fully grown.

It will take about four-to-five years to reach full size.

The male cubs will start getting their manes in about a year now they have just a little fluff on the top of the head.

The cubs will be on display this summer at the park's Safari Adventure.
