Tens of thousands of people grabbed their green and joined the party along Michigan Avenue. There were plenty of floats and marching bands. It was the 56th year for this event and it was a cold one! The Fox 2 Weather Authority says it was 19 degrees with wind chills in the single digits at the start of the race. But, that didn't stop the festivities. We saw a see of green as runners braved the elements, many were dressed in colorful and creative costumes to add to the fun.
