A third person has died because of a car that crashed into a crowd at the South by Southwest festival in Austin.

Sandy Le of Mississippi died Monday morning. The 26-year-old had been in critical condition.

Police said 21-year-old Rashad Owens was intoxicated early Friday morning when he smashed through the festival barricades on Red River Street and mowed down dozens of people.

The crash also killed 35-year-old Steven Craenmehr of the Netherlands and 27-year-old Jamie West of Austin. More than 20 other people were hospitalized.

Two teenagers from Fort Worth remain in hospitals in Austin.

Curtisha Davis, 18, is in good condition with fractures. Her boyfriend, 19-year-old Deandre Tatum, is in a medically induced coma. Their friend Erica Hall was also injured.

"When I woke up, I saw a lot of people around me. I didn't know how long I was out so I was like, 'Where are my friends? Where are my friends?'" Hall said.

There was a vigil over the weekend held in their honor on the steps of Trimble Tech High School.

Owens was charged with capital murder and aggrivated assault with a deadly weapon.
