Posted: Updated:

A suspect in an Arlington hit-and-run that badly injured a senior citizen was indicted on Monday, according to officials with the Tarrant County District Attorney's office.

Omar Bashir Mohammed, 25, is accused of hitting 73-year-old Terry Pinkston in February in the 2400 block of Ascension Boulevard.

Specific details of the indictment haven't been released, but Mohammed is out of jail on a $250,000 bond and must wear an ankle monitor.

He also had to surrender his passport.

Mohammed was arrested at DFW International Airport, where he was reportedly trying to flee the country.
