CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

When most people think of a trapeze artist, they often think of some kind of circus performer. But what if we told you that anyone could defy gravity - even you?

One local Edgewater school is teaching us that defying gravity is all in a day's work. If Good Day Chicago can do it, so can you!

Fears are meant to be faced. They're meant to be dared. They're meant to be conquered. When fears end, addictions begin. Welcome to the Trapeze School New York in Chicago.

The Edgewater indoor school offers everyone from beginners to experts to chance to forget about heights and forget all the rules of gravity.

Instructor Kate Nielson could be your constant voice of reassurance if you decide to give trapeze a try. Using a microphone, she guides you through the fear and into the amazement of what you can do.

Nielson told FOX 32 News the transition from fear to addiction comes faster than you might think. Whether you're a circus performer or new to the swing, you'll be defying gravity in no time.

Forget about heights, speed and fear. Anyone can do this – Good Day Chicago's Jake Hamilton speaks from experience.
