Free concerts among Final Four events

Posted: Updated:
DALLAS -

Teams are arriving for the Final Four and tens of thousands of fans are right behind them.

Florida, Kentucky, Wisconsin and UConn will be battling it out on the hardwood this weekend at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington. It is now decorated with huge signs.

Workers are putting the final touches on a stage at the site of the old Reunion Arena in Dallas. A three-day music festival kicks off there Friday.

As many as 40,000 people will be allowed at the venue for free concerts by Jason Aldean, Tim McGraw, The Killers, Bruce Springsteen, the Eli Young Band and Pat Green.

A fan festival at the Kay Bailey Hutchinson Convention Center in Dallas will offer budget and family-friendly activities, including the chance for fans to meet some NCAA sports stars.

Sundance Square in Fort Worth will be the home for ESPN during the Final Four. It's the same spot the sports network used three years ago for the Super Bowl.

The fountains in the square will be turned off and covered with a basketball half court for the week.

Organizers are encouraging fans to use DART to get to and from the Final Four events.
