Bears agree to 1-year deal with Britton

LAKE FOREST, Ill. (Associated Press) -

The Chicago Bears have agreed to a one-year contract with offensive tackle Eben Britton.

The 6-foot-6, 308-pound Britton appeared in the final 13 games for the Bears last season. He has started 34 of 50 games over five seasons with Jacksonville and Chicago.

The Bears announced the deal on Thursday.
