Arcade Classic To Be Played On Philly's Skyline

PHILADELPHIA -

Philly Tech Week kicks off Friday, and that means a monumental game of one of the world's largest video games.

We're talking about Tetris! The arcade classic will be played on both sides of the Cira Centre in University City.

FOX 29's Chris Murphy was live Friday morning in Eakins Oval with the brains behind the game, Drexel University Professor Frank Lee and Henk Rogers, managing director of the Tetris Company LLC.

Last year, the Cira Centre was transformed into a pong game that earned a Guinness World Record for the largest architectural video display.

This year's event has been rescheduled due to weather from Friday night to Saturday at 7 p.m.

The match will be showcased on both sides of Cira Centre as players with controllers for the game play from Eakins Oval.
