Felice Cerritos is a Fort Worth native who went to Crestwood Elementary school.
She graduated from Northside High School, started working and got married. Now that she's retired, she decided to give back, and she chose to do that at Fort Worth's Western Hills Primary School.
Cerritos doesn't have any children who attend school there -- she's there because she likes the school and loves the kids.
Cerritos has volunteered for nine years at the school, three to five days a week. She makes teaching materials for the teachers and helps them with translations.
She's happy to help the teachers motivate the kids and their parents to make school a priority.
Western Hills Primary School has 555 Pre-k, kindergarten and first graders, and Cerritos calls them all her babies.
Each year when the first graders graduate, it's bittersweet for her -- but then she gets a brand new crop of students to help.
