Operator of hotel in NJ wants you to think the place is haunted

Posted: Updated:
NEW JERSEY (MYFOXNY.COM) -

Tom McCormick is the owner of McCormick's Pub and the operator of the Hotel Somerset in Somerset, N.J. He says a ball of light showed up on surveillance video from the storeroom. It's just one of many unusual experiences at the Hotel Somerset: from soft touches to whispers in the dark.

Shannon McCormick has had several paranormal experiences. She and her husband believe the spirits may be children, possibly two boys and little girl. Who they were is unclear.

Tom's children, Connor and Kayleigh, bravely took us down into the basement, a hotspot for paranormal activity, says Robert McCaffrey of Paranormal Diagnostics Group.

I wanted to see, feel or hear for myself. I waited. Nothing happened, unfortunately. But later as I was walking down the stairs... just kidding. Maybe next time.
