DPD searching for man who exposed himself to Redbird teens

Posted: Updated:

Authorities with the Dallas Police Department are currently searching for a suspect who allegedly exposed himself to two teens recently.

Two incidents were reporting as taking place on Wednesday at an apartment complex in the 7600 block of S. Westmoreland Road. A 17-year-old girl reported that the suspect approached her around 9 a.m. in the apartment complex's breezeway. He reportedly exposed himself to her and asked her to perform a sex act on him.

He left when she refused, but returned later and offered her alcohol.  A neighbor witnessed that part of the incident and told the suspect to leave, which he did.

Around 10:20 a.m., the suspect reportedly exposed himself to an 18-year-old woman at the apartment complex's playground and again solicited a sex act. The woman ran away and told nearby police officers about what had happened.

Officers searched the area, but weren't able to find the man.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-tall black man who's about 33 and 250 pounds.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact 911.
