Two people are in serious condition after a driver ran a red light in Addison.
It happened around midnight Thursday at the intersection of Marsh Lane and Vitruvian Way.
Witnesses told police a black Mazda going at a high speed northbound on Marsh Lane ran through a red light. A little further down the road it slammed into a white SUV that was heading eastbound on Vitruvian Way.
Firefighters had to cut both male drivers out of the wreckage. They were taken to the hospital in serious condition. There were no passengers in either car.
Police said it's not clear if alcohol was a factor in the accident.
